Barbara McGinley, MA, LPC

Barbara McGinley, MA, LPC

Barbara received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University (2011) and continued on to receive certification in the areas of Sand Play Therapy (adults and children), Life Coaching, and EMDR. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of private practice experience and sees children, teens, adults and older adults.

Previously, Barbara has provided counseling to individuals at the Ocean Township Department of Human Services, Catholic Charities and the community YMCA. She is experienced in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-harm, suicidal ideation and life transitions/stressors.

Barbara believes that unconditional positive regard, compassionate challenging and deep understanding result in the most positive therapeutic outcomes. She is focused on meeting her clients needs through counseling, coaching and helpful referrals.

Barbara enjoys reading, walking in nature and spending time with her family and black lab, Theo.

Samantha Landi, MA, LPC

Samantha Landi, MA, LPC

Samantha served in the United States Navy from 1982-1986. She has twenty years of experience as a paralegal in a family law practice after receiving extensive college legal training. Samantha majored in Psychology at Georgian Court University and received her B.A. degree in 1995. She received a Master’s Degree in Education, 2002, and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgian Court University (2011). Samantha is a licensed Professional Counselor, qualifying her to provide a wide-range of services to people seeking her assistance.

Samantha was previously employed by Ocean Township Department of Human Services, an agency that provides County-wide therapeutic counseling to the population of Monmouth County. With this agency, Samantha headed the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program that receives referrals from both the Courts and from parents seeking help for their children. She also ran the Men’s Awareness Partnership Skills (MAPS), a men’s batterer’s intervention group at the agency. She has provided grief counseling to those experiencing the loss of loved ones; individual counseling for those experiencing extraordinary stressors in their daily life; and counseling for those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorders.

Samantha enjoys ballroom dancing, cooking and spending time with her family.

Jamie Grant, B.S.ed, RYT

As a yoga instructor, breathwork coach, and teacher, it is Jamie’s goal to help people find greater peace and fulfillment in their lives through the power of breath, yoga, and self-expression. Jamie is a 17 year veteran elementary school teacher and has seen firsthand, both in herself and her students, the toll that stress, anxiety and post- pandemic life has taken on our mental health. She has unlocked practices which can help return her clients to a greater sense of calm and balance. Jamie shares these practices in her community, including yoga groups, and students and faculty in her school.

Through a synthesis of soul-centered somatic practices, breathwork, and yoga, Jamie offers one-on-one coaching, workshops and small group classes.
